Product Description
0.75 m³ pallet of high quality air dried firewood logs. Anglia firewood sources its timber from for conversion into air dried firewood, because it is a partially untapped source of renewable energy on our doorstep.
We only buy the best hardwood species i.e. OAK, ASH, ELM, BEECH, MAPLE, FRUITWOOD, etc. These species burn at a much higher temperature for longer. E.g. one cubic metre of soft wood could contain under half the calorific value of one cubic metre of Anglia Firewood product, meaning that you will burn over twice as much to obtain the same heat. Unlike other companies, we do not bulk out our loads with lesser, cheaper species.
Consumers are increasingly turning to sustainable wood in the search for environmentally friendly renewable energy resources. Anglia Firewood provides premier air dried firewood, kindling and log stores. The benefits of our air dried wood compared to poor quality wood are as follows:

How to Store Firewood
It is very important that once you have bought and had your firewood delivered that you are storing the logs in the best way.
It is vital that the logs are under cover, a log store or our jackets are ideal.
The logs need to be stored in a place where they are off the ground in a dry area where they can get good air flow. Good air flow is crucial as it moves the air preventing any moisture in the air to be absorb by the logs.

For example if you place an order before 1pm on Monday we will aim to deliver by 6pm on the Wednesday. Weekends excluded. We offer a next day, but service charges apply – Please call 0800 112 3469 for further details.
Deliveries are made during the hours of 8am to 6pm on Weekdays, although you choose the delivery date, this can not be guaranteed. We attempt to ensure timely deliveries however these can be affected by conditions outside of our control, for example unforeseen issues on the road or bad weather conditions.
